Let's all take solace in the wisdom of the Founding Fathers. There are some things in the constitution that can't be circumvented as easily as denying us the protections afforded against unreasonable search and seizure (read: illegal wiretapping). Amending the constitution, in this case to include a ban on same-sex marriage, is very difficult. Thankfully.
