This beautiful dragonfly was on my bedroom ceiling this morning. I rescued it. (And I didn't screech like a little girl *cough*J*cough*.

Dragonflies eat their food the same way as flies and other insects do.

They spit(in a matter of speaking) on it with their strawlike thing to dissolve it and then suck it back up thru their teeny tiny straw thing.; 4:03 PM
