I went to the cemetaries last weekend while I was back in my hometown in Maine and snapped some pictures. I don't know who this person is, but I thought his tombstone was very cool and original. If I had to have a tombstone, I'd have something like this. Just a regular rock, nothing fancy or man-made. Posted by Hello

ah Maine, I love maine.
Worked at Maine Yankee Nuke Plant for 2 summer outages.

Loved the Blueberry roadside stands and the Lobster stands where you could buy Lobster for as low as 1.99 a pound.

Was in Walmart last night doing grocery shopping with me lady, Lobster selling for 15.00 a pound.

Yes if were to be buried, I would like that too.

But I am donating the this empty husk to science. Why take up space on this earth when your body can be used by Medical Students....

You never know, an exceptionally bright student might find the cure for something while exploring my empty shell....

Good thoughts on both accounts... Maybe donate the body, and then have a rock engraved somewhere you have been associated with during your time as a human...

i love the rock on top, k -- it's like when i went to visit thoreau's gravesite, it's a mound of stones and rocks that people left behind to let them know they were there - i think it's called a "cairn" if i am not mistaken...or was it at his home and not his grave?

(it's been 22 years since i went so my memory's a bit fuzzy...)
