I finished reading The Red Tent last week and I LOVED it!! What a great book. It's amazing what the women of those days had to do to survive.
Now I'm reading Empire Falls. My sister told me I should read it...no, she said it's a 'must read'. Her and I have similar likes when it comes to books, so I'm giving it a shot.

i just saw one of your posts about not being able to find blogs that are either teeny-boppers or asians (not that there's anything wrong with that...) here's what you do.
take 10 minutes and fill out your profile. put commas in between your likes and dislikes from movies to music and whatever.
save changes.
when you go back into your profile, click on your most favorite thing and it automatically links you to other people who share the same interests.
voila. instant connection with those who are older than 15 and speaking in english.
